Unit 15: Audio Visual Promos

 

 

Proposal  I am planning to create an audio-visual product that will be used for entertainment and promotional purposes. The product I want to make will be a music video for is "Forever" by DNCE . My main idea for this video is a performance and narrative video.  Proposed content.  My first thought for this video would be a band in a garage or some sort of room playing the song with cuts to a student who is struggling with a project for a school science fair. Starting with the mise-en-scene would be the customs for the band which would take inspiration from the members of DNCE themselves, this includes Demin jackets and neck chains. Furthermore, I wanna give the clips with the band an indie feel and then the narrative would be a student in smart casual clothes or even causal clothes.   I enjoy this music video mainly due to the special effects used, someone would think the effects or over the top and well that's the point of the song is to be over the top. The editing gives an 80s action TV show feel as well the disco vibe.  I like this music video because it shows different clips of his life and how he spent it.
